Where are you from?

I live in Normandy in the north of France.

When did you start experiencing hair loss? What has your experience been since then?

My hair began to fall out when I was 17. I started using minoxidil which did help me to keep the small amount of hair I had. However, after my 3 pregnancies I experienced post-partum hair loss and minoxidil couldn't help grow it back any longer.

Who was the first person you told about your hair? How did it go?

I was quite young when I first started losing my hair, so I told my mum first. She felt sad because she didn't have a solution for me. At the time, I felt quite isolated and sad.

How did you find Lusta Hair?

I had just created my Instagram account because I wanted to share the tips I had learned to hide my hair loss. I discovered what a topper was by watching the Lusta stories. Lusta really caught my eye because I found Kim so dynamic and fun. She was launching the lusta website and I bought one of her first pieces. In France wigs, toupees and toppers were also associated with illness and cancer and don't have a nice perception.

What do you love about wearing hair?

I love easily being able to change the colour of my hair. I have some blonde toppers and wanted to try a copper shade. Lusta was the only company to sell the color I was looking for.

What would your advice be to other women with hair loss?

It is not necessary to spend lots of money on treatments or 'magical pills' which promise to cure your hair loiss. Minoxidil can work but it's definitely not for everyone.

Anything else you want to share?

Life is much easier with alternative hair. It makes me feel pretty again!
