Let's Talk: Hair Care

Hello, hello!

I feel like all the hair loss facebook groups are all a buzz at the moment talking about hair health! There's so many posts asking for the best shampoo and conditioners for thin hair. So many recommendations for the best hair treatments or scalp oils.

And tbh, I'm here for it!

I've actually been on a bit of a hair health journey for the past few years. When I found hair toppers nearly a decade ago, I stopped thinking about my own hair. Toppers solved all my problems, I no longer needed to think about what my own hair was doing underneath them.

At the time, this was SO freeing. I had spent the decade before finding hair toppers laser-focused on growing my hair. I had tried every pill and potion. I had used every 'miracle' cure and growth solution. So, when I could finally stop worrying about growing my hair back and just wear toppers it felt AWESOME. Like a massive weight had been taken off my shoulders.

However, in the past 2 years I've started thinking about my own hair again. Yes, I'm still happy wearing toppers and will never ever stop. BUT, why wouldn't I want my own hair to feel soft and luscious as well?

You should see my shower. It's FULL of different shampoos and conditioners. I've been trying them all. The 'volumizing' ranges, the treatments, the deep-conditioners. I've learned so much about hair products and so much about what my hair needs.

Because, I think for us thin/fine hair women, our hair needs are so different to most. We need products that won't weigh down our hair, but also give us lots of moisture and hydration. We need nourishing products that aren't going to mess with our hair cycle.

I have become so obsessed with hair health that I've actually decided to do something pretty massive...I'm working with an Australian manufacturer to create my very own haircare product range! Yep....am I crazy?!

I'm super excited to share this journey with you and to finally give us thin hair women the best option for haircare. I actually talked more about this on my recent podcast, check it out HERE.

And, if you want to follow the journey, come join me on instagram!
